Mosquito Attack

Once upon a time there was a Sardarji. He lived in an area infested by mosquitos. But he slept every night heartily, without suffering any mosquito bite.

One evening one of his friends came to his house. After dinner both went to the bedroom to sleep. There the Sardar's friend saw a very intriguing action unfolding. The Sardar tied the machhardaani on the four poles on the cot keeping about half-a-foot gap at the bottom of the net on all four sides. He waited for about ten-fifteen minutes. Then adjusted the machhardaani so that there was no gap at all at the bottom of the net and then went to sleep on a mat on the floor.

The friend who was watching all this was confused.
He asked the Sardar "Arre, what are you doing? What for you have tied this mosquito net over the cot if you were going to sleep on the floor"?

Sardar told "Chal Puthar, jyada sawaal math poochh. Aaraam se so jaa. Hum andar soyenge samajhkar saare machhar jaali ke andar ghus gaye hai aur main jaali band kar diya hoon. Ab hum aaraam se soyenge".
